This is the footbridge that connects Brindley eateries etc. with the ICC and Symphony Hall. A busy spot that I’ve seen in snow, rain, sunshine, daytime, night time. I’ve been on the tourist barge that sets off from here and played pointless pooh sticks off the bridge.
It’s great on a sunny day and during normal times a pleasantly busy spot. Bridges are an important feature in a number of Hiroshige’s more popular views of Edo. I would love to return to this view and look at it from a different angle or include some people.
