Oh Kardomah!

This early evening / late afternoon Christmas shopping trip was gathered just before lockdown II. Muji and Ecco occupy a beautiful building that formerly housed the Kardomah Café.  This understated building is Birmingham’s La Pedrera in my opinion. There is a lovely warmth to the brick and some small sculpted architectural details. People are scarce in my views of Brum anyway, but there is a small scattering of socially distanced shoppers in this view.

The title came from a pun on the musical Oklahoma! This was my earworm as I listened to the American election while working on this scene.

Please allow up to two weeks for delivery of your print from the date of order.

This is of course being offered as a giclée print. If you are interested in an original print of this view please contact Mike
