Keep Right On
When I started the series I did a lot of blue, grey and black. Perhaps it reflected my mood but I think it was more to do with a lack of experience of using colour in printmaking. When I visited the Blues football ground I really wanted it to fit into my more colourful later prints in the series. I worked hard on the evening sky and used the purples and warm yellows in other areas of the print. I also went for quite a vibrant blue. I hope you like the result – a much more definite Blues print than my Sleeping Giant print.
