Three Flats
This view is one that I often walk past as I stroll along the canal. I particularly like the dark sky and lighter areas where the light falls across the flats.
I couldn’t help but think about the outstanding film ‘Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri’. I like the descriptive title of the film and it does remind me of a title for a piece of art.
I do often see herons in and around Birmingham. They have a too big to fly look about them and will stand so still as they impersonate a garden ornament.
